Welcome to UniWA’s Graphic design and Visual Communication department of the School of Applied Arts and Culture.

This department provides qualitative studies through programs of courses and research, preparing the future generations of scientists to enter the world of Graphic Design and  Graphic Art Sciences which are acknowledged in the fields of education and the job market.

The undergraduate degree is based on a program of internationally acknowledged prototypes and courses consisting of various studies and is taught in departments of internationally recognized universities and Organizations.

 This department takes into consideration the regulations of the Hellenic Quality Assurance & Accreditation Agency in Higher Education ( HQA).

The Department of Graphic Design and Technology of Graphic Arts offers a Master degree program entitled: “Intelligent package, new technologies and marketing.” The program unites the natural with the electronic and digital worlds. It focuses on the technologies of Intelligent packaging and also on the study and design of  innovative packaging and their utilization and holistic communication through the science of marketing.

The aim of this program is to provide current, proficient, high quality scientific knowledge (both general and specific) that are related to the design, management and projection of the intelligent packaging.

Our scientific staff includes researchers, artists with projects and works of art, that have been published in International scientific journals, Conventions, festivals and exhibitions.

The accomplishments of the talented students and graduates have helped make the department internationally known through synergies, cooperation with foreign Educational Institutes and Organizations and also with distinctions in various festivals and Conventions in this field.
