Research Committee

RESEARCH COMMITTEE

The UNIWA Research Committee is a collective elected body of the University aiming at implementing the University’s research policy through the management and administration of the Special Account for Research Grants. It is formed by representatives of the Academic Departments, whereas one of the Vice Rectors is appointed as its President.

Special Account for Research Grants (ELKE) aims to foster theoretical and applied research in the areas of science that are of direct interest to the University. The purpose of ELKE is to allocate and manage funds intended to cover the costs necessary for the needs of research, education, training, development projects, preparation of special studies, provision of counseling or activities that contribute to the interconnection of education, research and the labor market.
