AWARDS AND SCOLARSHIPS

The University of West Attica supports both undergraduate and postgraduate students through scholarships and awards. In the context of transparency and meritocracy and excellence, which are governing principles of UNIWA, the University grants a number of scholarships originating from the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, the State Scholarship Foundation, from private donations, or other institutions of the public and private sectors.

The main purpose of UNIWA scholarships and awards is to both attract and reward top students.

The scholarships and awards provided by the University are as follows:

  • Scholarships and awards granted to first-year students.
  • Scholarships and awards granted to second-year students.
  • Scholarships and awards granted to third-year students.

The process and criteria for granting scholarships are determined by the conditions set by the donor or University Senate (e.g. evaluating the achievements, financial status, social criteria, origin, etc.)
